After all the craziness of finishing my last semester of college and moving back home to Wisconsin, I’ve been spending a lot of much needed time with my friends and family. I have been experiencing a lot of joy in the little moments of my life as I navigate this new journey.
This is one of my first rolls from my new little point and shoot film camera- a Canon Snappy. I have gotten into the habit of just slipping this camera into my pocket and bringing it everywhere with me just in case there is a special moment that I want to preserve. What I love the most about film is the surprise of seeing the photos, sometimes weeks or months after taking them, and remembering all the feelings and memories surrounding each shot. It is so fun to see all these moments from the last month compiled into a brief collection of frames, all of which I thoughtfully decided to capture with the intention of preserving little moments that bring me joy.
