Finally some time to get outside and enjoy the fresh snow! This month was full of beautiful, outdoor adventures, which has created an important reset for me after graduating in December.
I spent some time visiting some close friends in Ironwood and Marquette. I had only been away from the UP for a couple weeks before I missed it like crazy (along with the special people in my life that still live there) so of course I had to find some excuses to go spend some time up there. There was lots more snow in the UP than there was in my hometown in Southeastern Wisconsin. I’m a big fan of snow, so it was nice to experience some “winter wonderland moments” for the first time in a while. Even though the weather was quite unpredictable at home, with snow one day and 50 degree temps the next, I made it a point almost every day to take a hike in the fields with my mom and my dog, Willow.
