Mother Nature

This is a series of silver gelatin prints is inspired by my routine close observation of nature in appreciation of its endless beauty. I embarked on daily adventures within the Upper Peninsula, where I limited myself to only shoot a few frames each day. Due to the limited number of frames on each roll, film encourages a more thoughtful approach to composing photographs. Taking the time to slow down when experiencing nature allows us to notice details of beauty that may otherwise be overlooked.
